Fashion Interns - Masc
MASC is currently advertising for two fashion interns, details are as follows:
MASC is a luxury ready-to-wear womenswear label that has debuted with unprecedented success at London and Paris fashion weeks. Selected as one of the Selfridges' bright young things, MASC now has a dedicated window display and is available in-store. Their SS12 collection has been featured in publications such as i-D Magazine, Italian Vogue and Style.com
Born from the idea of equipping the human form with an armoured elegance and chic minimalism, MASC collections translate notions of concealment, Japanese simplicity & body geometry into draped & structured silhouettes.
The design team are now developing their highly anticipated Autumn Winter 2012 collection and are seeking students to carry our work placements. The successful applicants should be available immediately.
Pattern Cutter Student:
The student could gain experience in developing patterns from blocks, draped toiles & assisting with alterations. There will be opportunities to help develop new shapes for the forthcoming season as well as preparing patterns for sampling and production. They are happy to make the placement as relevant as possible for the individual student.
Design Student:
The student will gain experience in concept research, design development, cad skill & technical drawings, pattern cutting & 3D development, working alongside the main designers. They are happy to make the placement as relevant as possible for the individual student.
Experience Student Would Gain:
A fashion student could gain some real first hand experience of working in a design team, seeing the full process first drape to final show.
